Beijing Train Station

Beijing train station is Beijing's first modern railway station. At present this is the best railway station of the world.

Facilities and amenities of this station are unmatched. Best efforts are made by the government so that this becomes number one in providing best services to the visitor.

The station was established in1950's, and is excellent in its architecture. It is located in an extremely central location, just next to Jianguomen, and is within the confines of the city's 2nd Ring Road. Trains enter and leave to the scenery of a former Beijing city gate at Dongbianmen.

This station is centrally located and is on the circular underground line. A ticket office for foreigners, where tickets for all Beijing stations can be purchased up to four days in advance, is located in the first- class waiting room on the ground floor.

For convenience of visitors timetables are made in Chinese only. Economy- class passengers queue in pacific waiting halls, and can only access the platform once their train has arrived.
