Jinshancheng is Beijing's largest and most popular Sichuan restaurant. There are generally queues of people who wait for their seats.
After being seated, guests have the choice of ordering laziji (chicken buried under a mound of hot peppers), ganbian sijidou (green beans), and mapou doufu (spicy tofu). All three are hot favorites. If Sichuan dishes are to your taste, then Jin Shan Cheng delivers some of the best value for your money.
The décor of the restaurant is classical Chinese completed with traditional furniture, calligraphy and artwork. The menu is available in Chinese and English.
