Banana Club

Banana is one of Beijing's oldest and most popular discos. The crowd is mostly local riches: black- clad men and skinny women who wear sunglasses at night. The sound system produces enough bass to loosen tooth fillings.

The club opened in 1997, the first in a wave of small, exclusive clubs to enter the Beijing nightlife market. It was set up for the Nouveau Riche Chinese who were too trendy for the older nightspots. The club is separated into a lounge room, a disco and an MTV room.

This new, larger location is a classic bit of 1990's Miami Beach postmodernism with fake palm trees and white Doric columns.

It mingles world trend disco music with Chinese local expression of music; Banana creates its own style of disco. People will be refreshed by the variable styles of music all night long, because you will never ever get a variety of music anywhere other than Banana.

The décor of the room is traditional Chinese especially KTV rooms, classic, modern and Mediterranean, 3 styles decorated rooms are free for you to choose.
