Wan Fung Art Gallery

Wan Fung Art Gallery is a fine arts organization that was founded in 1986 in order to promote the Chinese art and culture by exhibiting the masterpieces of famous contemporary Chinese artists.

It has organized over 600 high quality art exhibitions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, America, Canada and mainland China as well as in many other countries in South East Asia.

Fung has become a leading representative for numerous contemporary Chinese painting masters. Among those, there are more than twenty artists who are regularly on the list of selected lots in auction companies such as Christies and Sotheby. Hence, Wan Fung has opened an international market for Chinese fine arts.

The gallery is just minute's drive away from the City. The Wan Fung Art Gallery is located in buildings that once housed China's imperial archives.

Paintings from both national and international artists are shown here. There is usually an interesting mix of traditional and modern styles and media. All works are for sale, but for those with a limited budget a small shop sells prints of the more popular works on display.
